Blood tests before work: 8% of labs open before eight in the morning

You cannot get tested before work everywhere. In Kazakhstan we know the schedule of 991 of 1,199 active laboratories and medical centers that take tests. Only 80 of them open before eight in the morning, which is eight percent

When do laboratories open?

Eight in the morning is the industry standard, and more than half open then. Nine is another third. Only 8% make it before eight, and half of them work around the clock

Many tests are taken on an empty stomach, before breakfast. If your workday starts at nine, your choice narrows to those eight percent

If the morning does not work for you, there is an evening option. Our partner KAZMED is a medical center in Almaty at Aksai-5, building 12A. On weekdays it works from 08:00 to 22:00, and on Saturday from 08:00 to 18:00. A stool test for 22 types of parasites costs 15,000 ₸, a container with preservative costs 1,000 ₸, and you can hand it in after the working day

What is missing from the listing?

The address is filled in better than in any other specialty we have covered in our series. It is missing at only 3%. At spas and rehabilitation centers this field is empty at 20%

Working hours, though, are missing at one business in six. That is exactly the field that decides here whether you arrive on an empty stomach in time

What this means for you

1. If you plan to give blood before work, look in advance. Only eight percent open before eight in the morning, and half of them are open around the clock

What this means for an owner

If you open at seven or work around the clock, you are in those same eight percent. Say so in the first line. A person who must finish before work chooses by this feature, not by price
