1.1. A request for the deletion of personal data may be submitted by any person whose data is processed by the ooon.ai Service, regardless of country of residence.
1.2. The request is accepted at any time. No fee is charged for its review and processing.
2.1. The request is sent to [email protected] with the subject line "Personal Data Deletion".
2.2. The letter must include:
the username of the Instagram business account in correspondence with which the data was processed;
the username of the requester's Instagram account, or other information allowing the correspondence to be located;
an e-mail address to which the response should be sent.
2.3. A business account owner requesting the deletion of the entire account's data shall indicate the username of the business account and attach confirmation of their rights to it.
2.4. A request relating to correspondence in WhatsApp or other messaging applications is sent to the same address, indicating the phone number from which the correspondence was conducted.
Upon processing of the request, the following is deleted:
the content of the correspondence: message texts, attached files, date and time sent;
the sender identifier (IGSID for Instagram, phone number for WhatsApp) and the conversation identifier;
information on the Instagram business account: identifier, username, display name, profile picture;
the access token issued by Meta Platforms, Inc.
The following is retained:
accounting and tax documents, the retention period of which is established by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
de-identified information that does not allow a specific person to be identified;
technical security logs containing information on instances of access, without the content of the correspondence.
The information listed above is retained for the period established by legislation, and is deleted upon its expiry.
5.1. The request is reviewed and processed within 30 calendar days from the date of receipt.
5.2. Upon completion of the request, a written confirmation is sent to the e-mail address indicated by the requester.
5.3. Where the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan establishes a shorter period for the destruction of personal data for a particular case, the period established by the legislation shall apply.
5.4. If the request cannot be fulfilled, the response shall state the grounds for refusal.
6.1. The owner of an Instagram business account has the right to revoke ooon.ai's access independently: Instagram → "Settings and Privacy" → "Security" → "Apps and Websites" → ooon.ai → "Remove".
6.2. After access is revoked, ooon.ai stops receiving messages from that account.
6.3. Revoking access does not, by itself, result in the deletion of previously received data. To delete such data, a request should be sent to [email protected]
