When a person asks an assistant "recommend an osteopath in Almaty," it assembles the answer from a selection of sources. We measured that selection as a whole: which websites get into it and in what share
There are 10,205 links in answers in total. Of them, 4.8% point to us, which is third place in our measurement. The top of the selection looks like this:
| source | links |
|---|---|
| 2gis.kz | 1,608 |
| 103.kz | 725 |
| ooon.ai | 420 |
The first two places are held by directories built over years that contain hundreds of thousands of listings. We are younger and smaller by orders of magnitude. Getting into the top three means the assistant picks a source by a single sign: whether the page answers the question asked
The check for this is simple. Of the questions where the assistant named us, it opened the page of a specific business in 38 cases and a catalog page in one. The model looks for an answer about a business and gets it right away, with no intermediate landing page
The share is moved by the precision of a page, and the number of pages hardly matters. A page that answers a live question in full is worth more than ten pages that merely list things
This is the first snapshot, and there is nothing to compare it with yet. The measurement repeats daily and goes into the summary, so movement in the share will be visible within a week
Compose two dozen questions that your client asks out loud. Ask them to the assistant. Write down which websites it named. A month later, repeat the same list word for word. The difference between the two lists is your share in AI answers
