A person types "IV drip near me" and does not find the room that stands in the next building. The reason is simple: 440 of the 1,516 active businesses in Kazakhstan that give injections and IV drips have no address in their listing. That is 29%, the worst figure among the medical categories we analyzed
| category | businesses | no address |
|---|---|---|
| Injections and IV drips | 1,516 | 29% |
| Psychology | 1,735 | 9% |
| General practitioners | 1,263 | 7% |
| Dermatology | 767 | 6% |
| Neurology | 1,274 | 4% |
| Surgery | 993 | 4% |
| Cardiology | 1,005 | 2% |
| Endocrinology | 932 | 1% |
Endocrinologists list an address at 99 businesses out of a hundred. Treatment rooms do so at seven out of ten
Some rooms work on house calls: a nurse comes to your home. For them the empty field is understandable. But you can't tell a mobile room from a stationary one by the listing, since both look equally empty
| indicator | businesses | share |
|---|---|---|
| open on weekends | 1,167 | 77% |
| see patients after 21:00 | 364 | 24% |
A quarter work after nine in the evening, more than any other medical category in our comparison. In neurology and cardiology it is about a tenth
This is understandable: IV drips are given as a course, and an evening appointment after work is more convenient

If you have a stationary room and no address is listed, those who search "near me" won't find you. Searching with the word "near" is the usual way to look for this kind of service
If you work on house calls, say so directly in the description. Then a person understands why there is no address and calls instead of scrolling past the listing
The open 2GIS directory, August 2026. We counted active businesses that have injections and IV drips among their categories: 1,516 listings. A field counted as empty if the listing has nothing in it at all. The comparison across categories follows the same rules
