A separate service, "emergency care for adults," is listed by 1,286 of 2,913 clinics. This is not the same as working around the clock: a clinic may take patients with acute pain without an appointment, but only during its own hours

Will ratings help me choose a dental clinic?

The average rating of dental clinics is 4.70 across 2,805 rated clinics. The average across the whole directory is 4.57, so dental clinics are slightly above the market. But you still cannot choose by rating: speech therapists average 4.84, hair removal 4.83, barbershops 4.78, and almost all categories sit in a tight group near five

What this means for you

1. Acute pain on Saturday evening: call several clinics at once. In most cities Sunday closes more than half of the clinics
2. Around-the-clock clinics are few everywhere. It is easier to learn the ones in your own city in advance than to search at night
3. "Emergency care" in the list of services means seeing a patient with acute pain without an appointment, but during working hours. Confirm the hours separately
4. 63% of clinics offer a free first consultation, so you can come for an examination without paying for a visit

What this means for an owner

Sunday and night are the emptiest shelf in dentistry among the hours we compared. In Karaganda four clinics out of 173 work around the clock, in Kostanay three out of 79. A person in acute pain does not choose by price and does not compare reviews: they go where it is open

The open 2GIS directory, August 2026. Kazakhstan has 2,913 active dental clinics, 2,751 of them have a schedule listed, and 2,805 have a rating. Sunday was counted by whether that day appears in the schedule. Around-the-clock work was counted among clinics whose schedule states work past midnight. Emergency care and the free consultation were counted from the listed services, with shares out of all 2,913 listings
