Forty-five out of four hundred thirty-four: bathhouses with a hot tub in Astana

After the steam room, the body usually asks for cold: a pool, snow, an ice-cold shower. A bathhouse with a hot tub gives it the opposite: a hot tub in the yard that keeps warming the body. In Astana, 45 of the 434 businesses in our directory offer this format

What is a bathhouse with a hot tub?

In a classic bathhouse, people cool off after the steam room in a pool, under a cold shower, or outdoors. In a bathhouse with a hot tub it is the other way around: a hot tub in the yard keeps warming the body. The tub stands in the yard or on a terrace next to the steam room, and the yard becomes a second room of the bathhouse

Who is a bathhouse with a hot tub for?

A hot tub suits a group that comes for the whole evening: between rounds in the steam room you can sit in warm water in the yard for a long time, talk, and not hurry home. Open air and a view of the yard are part of the experience people choose a hot tub for

For someone who goes to the bathhouse quickly, on the way from work, an ordinary steam room without a tub is often more convenient: the visit takes less time. The difference between the formats is above all the pace of the outing

How many bathhouses with a hot tub are there in Astana?

45 of the 434 bathhouses in the directory have a hot tub. It is a noticeable part of the market, but not the main one: most bathhouses in the city keep the ordinary format, without an open tub in the yard

For comparison, here are other formats that also appear in business names and listing attributes

The shared format, a bathhouse without separate private rooms, where people come in a group or alone and share the space with other visitors, is more common than the hot tub. The city has only one hammam so far

How do I find a bathhouse with a hot tub?

A hot tub belongs to a specific business. It does not mark a whole district or street. The quickest way to check for one is the list of businesses with format labels
