Brows and lashes: where to get them done and when it is open

Kazakhstan has 1,121 brow and lash studios, and almost all of them are open on Sundays: 95%. This is one of the most accessible categories in the country. Brow shaping is declared by 75% of studios, brow lamination by 72%, lash lamination by 71%, lash extensions by 68%

What do brow and lash specialists do?

The first six lines are the category itself, and they hold tightly, from 57% to 75%. In availability the services barely differ: both lamination and extensions are found almost everywhere

The seventh line is more interesting. Gel polish is done by 38% of studios, machine manicure by 37%, pedicure by 35%. So in roughly every third brow studio you can take care of your nails in the same visit

By city

In Uralsk and Almaty, both services are offered by four studios out of five. In Kostanay by half, and there you will have to narrow your choice in advance

Semey stands out for a gap within the city: extensions 68%, lamination 51%. In the other cities these two services run almost level

When are brow and lash salons open?

1,050 studios listed a schedule. 95% work on Sunday, 43% after nine in the evening

For comparison, 35% of nail studios keep the evening, and 24% of hair salons. Brows and lashes are one of the latest categories in beauty after barbershops

The average rating is 4.67 across 960 rated studios, and the directory average is 4.57

What this means for you

1. Lamination and extensions are offered by roughly seven studios out of ten. You hardly have to choose by whether a service exists, so look at the way there and the hours
2. Nails in the same studio: roughly every third one. If you need to get two things done at once, look for both services in the description
3. 43% of studios keep the evening, 95% keep Sunday. A day off is more dependable here than a late evening
4. In Kostanay and Kokshetau the choice for a specific service is half as wide as in Almaty

What this means for an owner

Services within the category barely tell studios apart: everyone has roughly the same set. Everything else does: hours, location, the chance to take care of nails in the same visit

43% keep the evening after nine. That is more than nail studios and hair salons, but still fewer than half: there is room for those who work until ten

Where the numbers come from

The open 2GIS directory, August 2026. There are 1,121 active brow and lash studios in Kazakhstan, a schedule is listed for 1,050, a rating exists for 960. Services come from declared ones, and shares are calculated from all 1,121 listings. A studio usually does several services at once, so the shares add up to more than a hundred. We counted a studio as an evening one if its schedule goes past 21:00, the same threshold as in our analysis of where to go after nine in the evening.
