The most common gap in a business listing is the address: 18% simply do not have one. Opening hours are missing for 11%, a phone number for 6%. Among Kazakhstan's 42,538 active beauty and health businesses, these three gaps appear more often than the rest

The first two rows are about how a business describes itself. "Type of activity" is a short caption under the name: barbershop, dental clinic, massage room. Without it a person sees only the name, and the name often says nothing

Which businesses most often lack opening hours?

Almost half of ultrasound businesses have no hours, 48%, twice as often as the directory average. Why there in particular, our data does not show

What this means for you

1. No opening hours: call before you go. In medical fields this is every fourth business
2. 18% have no address. Such a business may work on-site at the client's place or in a room inside another building, so clarify exactly where to go
3. The list of services is filled in more often than any other field in our table: only 4% lack it. Why those 4% did not fill it in, the data does not show
4. 5% of businesses have no photos. This is one of the most completed fields in our table, so its absence is rare

What this means for an owner

An empty field takes you out of the selection. A person filters by opening hours and by service: if they are missing, you are simply not in the list, regardless of the quality of your work

Three fields cost five minutes and cover almost everything: type of activity, opening hours, list of services. The address is harder if you work on-site at the client's place, in which case write that directly instead of leaving the field empty

Opening hours matter not only to a person. Lists and roundups, ours included, are built from businesses with a known schedule. No hours, no row in the list
