Psychologists: half work online, but not all are open in the evening

An office worker's day ends at six, and then comes the question of where to find a psychologist who still sees clients. Of Kazakhstan's 894 psychology practices and centers, 487 offer online sessions, 54%. After seven in the evening 56% work, on Sunday 45%. Online widens this window more than choosing a district does

Oskemen is the reverse of all the others: only half offer online there, but four practices out of five are open in the evening. In Shymkent both figures are low, and you will have to book during working hours

Who exactly do psychologists work with?

Only a quarter of practices list teenage sessions. Specialists who directly call themselves teenage psychologists are four times fewer than practices overall, so a parent of a teenager has a harder search than a parent of a preschooler

The open 2GIS directory, August 2026. Kazakhstan has 894 active psychology practices and centers, 818 have a schedule listed, and 626 have a rating. Online sessions and focus areas were taken from listed services, with shares out of all 894 listings. A practice counted as evening if its schedule runs past 19:00.
