How it usually goes

Azamat was building a warehouse from drawings he'd received on paper. Every week the same problems turned up on site: ventilation ran right where a beam was, outlets ended up behind racking, and the concrete volumes were off from the estimate by a quarter

For the second project, he asked for a model. The clashes were found before construction — thirty-eight of them, all right there on screen. Material volumes were calculated straight from that same model

Azamat says the main change wasn't in the drawings. It's that his foreman stopped calling him to ask "how do I handle this?"

How it works

The building is assembled in full as a 3D model: walls, floor slabs, the frame, and all the engineering systems are placed exactly where they belong. The model reveals clashes between utilities and structural joints before any concrete gets poured

Material volumes come from the model, not from a rough estimate. That's why the budget stays closer to reality, and why resizing something in one place automatically updates the rest of the drawings
