A couple building a guest house had long argued about how it should look: one wanted wood, the other glass, and they couldn't find a compromise. A 3D visualization on their actual plot quickly showed that one of the options faced straight into the neighbor's fence, and the months-long argument was settled in a single viewing

How it usually goes

Jamilya and her husband were building a guest house on eight sotkas near Issyk-Kul. They'd already bought a 100 kVA transformer, and the plot had been cleared

Their argument was about the look. He pictured wood and a pitched roof, she pictured glass and a flat one. Each of them kept showing photos from the internet, and the conversation went in circles

The argument ended with the render. Both options were placed on their actual plot, with their terrain and the lake view, and it became clear that the glass version looked straight into the neighbor's fence
